Musical Consequences is based on the Surrealists favoured parlour game Consequences, whereby players write or draw part of a sentence or a figure on a sheet of paper, fold it to conceal their contribution and pass it onto the next player to add to.

Formatting classical piano notation commonly found in children’s piano tutor books in such a way as to mimic a cut and paste collective assembly method Musical Consequences promotes and encourages experiment and dissonance over harmony and repetition.
