BOOK MACHINE (Paris) @ Centre Pompidou

BOOK MACHINE: A temporary and nomadic publishing house dedicated to the process of book production in the grandest sense.
In early 2013, onestar press was invited by the Centre Pompidou to participate in Le Nouveau festival, and as a response to this invitation, BOOK MACHINE (Paris) was conceived by Christophe Boutin and Melanie Scarciglia.
At the heart of BOOK MACHINE (Paris), was BOOK MACHINE PRESS.

This event catalogued an extraordinary joint-venture initiated by an institution which successfully brought together our independent publishing company, onestar press, to work as intermediary between the public at large and a great selection of young designers chosen from the best schools.
Each public participant arrived to meet with his/her designer, and to ensure maximized usage of time, each participant came prepared with their project. As a result, books were conceived and sent to the printers at an extraordinary pace, with great cooperation from the book printers to ensure fast and efficient delivery of books.
