The Plague is Me is a practice articulated within a theoretical frame, a coded text that uses language as a virus upon itself. At once both located within the present and a hidden past, the text is both a parody as well as a challenge to the construction of language and history. With an anarchic disrespect Kendell Geers places his tongue firmly in your cheek in a game of hide and seek, Burrowing into language like the worm computer virus to recreate the violence of past revolutions within the present, a reminder that the war game is never over and never one.
