The design of this bookshelf aims to reduce its three constituent elements to its minimum expression: the plywood board (horizontal line), the linoleum surface that hangs down (organic curved line) and the steel stake that holds the books on the left end (straight vertical line); thus this shelf finds itself somewhere between a drawing and an object. These three elements (blended together in a clean grammar) hang upon the wall with a very discrete mechanism behind the plywood edge.
