Tobias Rehberger's Paradise Bookshelf is based on an old piece of furniture that the artist had found in the abandoned Hotel Paradiso in Val Martello, Italy (designed in 1935 by Gio Ponti).
Each of these unique and finely crafted bookshelves are aged as if left in an attic for more than 50 years and are painted by the artist using his distinctive selection of colors.
